7-10 Contin-Tail Rock and Gem Show Collectors Paradise.: Over 100 booths. Merchants contrywide gather at Rodeo Grounds to sell, swap and show rocks, minerals and gems, sculptured artwork and fine jewelry.
9-10 Gold Rush Days: Step back in time to the Colorado Gold Rush when Main Street reflects on their gold mining past. Try gold panning, watch gunfights, take a square dance lesson or listen to music from teh past. Watch the Costume Parade, or rent one and be in it. Sunday, the third leg of the Triple Crown Burro Race has athletes running beside a burro equipped with mining tools. After professionals leave, try running with a burro in our citizen's race. Buy a Duck Race ticket and win $1,000 prize money. Over 1000 vendors including food, a beer garden, children's rides, craft booths and more - maybe even a mechanical bull.
